The earth provides and lends us.
Fertile earth and eddying seas urge replication.
Chances unbound for any life that found their niche.
Nurturing now anything with the resolve to survive and so humans evolve.
The earth supplies and mends us.
Foetal push in child birth through to aged cremation.
Diversity brings remedies from nature’s apothecary.
Healing now our knocks and dents with brew and stew ingredients.
The earth survives and doubts us.
Futile fuss and navel-gazing hold no human salvation.
It watches our civilisation in disbelief.
Laughing now at our curses and cries, fires and frosts bringing self-despise.
The earth’s inside supplies us.
Infantile lust masked as scientific exploration .
Stream, river, sea, sky all succumb to grief.
Exploiting now, as every seam is followed and this hallowed earth becoming hollowed.
The earth takes sides against us.
Untamed disgust, no deity erasing condemnation.
Too little regret for debt paid by so many.
Even now, the inconvenience of demise blinds corruptions' costs with spins and lies.
The earth abides without us.
Feral crust erupting for fun as if re-creation.
Climates change, nature reorders plenty.
Diminishing now and with morality rotten, our civilisation lost and soon forgotten.
